Ingredients
1 cup white whole wheat flour
1 scoop SFH PURE Whey Protein-Naked
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
4 breakfast veggie sausages
4 large eggs (scrambled)
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup kale
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Begin by preheating your waffle iron to medium heat
Next, in a large bowl, mix the flour, SFH protein, and baking powder.Then, add in the egg, mix until combined
Once the waffle maker is completely heated, lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray on both sides. Then, pour about ¼ cup of batter into the waffle maker, close, and flip. Let cook for about 1and ½ to 2 minutes. Flip waffle maker and open. If it needs a little more time to cook, close and flip over, let cook for about 20-30 seconds longer
Lay out mini waffles and divide eggs evenly among them. Top each with a veggie sausage and kale. Top with another waffle and enjoy.
